Institute for Emergency Medicine and Management in Medicine
The INM is the first institution of its kind in Germany. It perceives
maintaining education and research in emergency medicine and health care management as its primary objective.

Main Goals:
- Development of scientific methods in emergency medicine
- Evaluation of treatment strategies and the quality of processes used in acute medicine.
- Implementation of scientific evidence in new treatment
- Dissemination of knowledge for laymen, health care professionals and decisionmakers in emergency care
The INM is home to the IT-service for many professional organizations in acute care and also hosts the regional ATLSŪ training center.

Currently the INM is responsible for:
- Quality management for pre-hospital emergency service for southern Germany
- Centre of excellence for E-learning and major research data ware house
- New large integrated simulation center (skill training & full-scale simulation)
- Major EMS training centre (78,000 attendees so far)
- Training in management skills
The expertise provided by INM is integral part of two special fellowship programs we offer:
acute trauma care and emergency medicine.
