Trauma Care
Trauma care is for most societies a leading cause of death in the age groups under 50 years. Excellence in primary and secondary trauma service have a huge impact on social welfare since the associated long term costs are enormous.
Modern trauma care starts at the scene of the accident, requires rapid standardized intervention, immediate early and definite diagnostics, and surgical treatment at an optimal time point. It is completed by an excellent intensive care treatment, early rehabilitation in order to achieve a full recovery of the patient.
We deliver an integral training program which forms the core of the fellowship offered for trauma care.
