MMI Subcontractor for Building a New Hospital in Russia
February 2011 - LSR Story (a subsidiary of LSR Group, a real estate development and building materials company based in Russia) has signed a contract with the Chief Army Support Department for the design and construction of a military hospital in Anapa, Russia.
Subcontractors are the Munich based companies MMI (medical concept planning), Drees & Sommer (construction project management) and Nickl & Partner (architecture). The start of construction is planned for autumn 2011. The project completion is scheduled for December 2013.
Joint Venture of Drees & Sommer and MMI
February 2011 - Drees & Sommer and MMI have established a new joint venture company called "Drees & Sommer MMI Build and Care" in Dubai (Jebel Ali Freezone) to realize healthcare building projects in the Middle East and in Europe. Drees & Sommer is an international company based in Germany and one of the largest engineering and consulting firms in Europe that specializes in buildings and developments.
The new company combines the know how of physicians and engineers to provide customers or investors with medical concept planning and project management for the whole planning and building process.

Partnership of EasyMed Services Inc. and MPC Dubai
February 2011 - EasyMed Services Inc. and Modern Pharmaceutical Company (MPC) Dubai, launched their cooperation in a specialized disease management solution for diabetes patients in the middle east region. EasyMed will enhance MPCs existing solution by integrating the mobile version with reminder services, data collection, and technology for inputting blood sugar levels for medication.
MMI is cooperating with Modern Pharmaceutical Company for many years and both managing partners of MMI are board members of EasyMed.
MMI cooperates with innovative E-Health service
July 2010 - Prof. Frank Christ, managing partners of Munich Medical International, is appointed to the board of EasyMed Mobile. MMI will help EasyMeds innovative E-Health business to provide worldwide services as well as supporting the strategic orientation of the group.
MMI invests in Ervitech Ltd. UK
July 19th, 2010 - MMI placed an investment in Ervitech Ltd. UK, a collaboration with Imperial College London, University College London, and Imperial Innovations for a new breathing monitor. The device is targeted for monitoring in the perioperative managment of patients as well as assisted living and a larger consumer market.
MMI supports innovative home ventilation service
May 1st, 2010 - Prof. Frank Christ is appointed as a board member to ProVita Abu Dhabi, a company that provides highly specialized and sophisticated healthcare services for ventilated patients in a homely environment.
MMI consults to TVM Capital MENA healthcare fund
February 2010 - Munich Medical International (MMI) is consulting to TVM Capital MENA by providing substantial medical know how to the fund management. MMI became partner in investments and Prof. Frank Christ and the MMI-Team will contribute their longstanding experience in the healthcare market in the Middle East region (see MMI´s Newsroom for further details).
