LMU University Announces Foundation of LMU-MMI
Munich, July 27, 2005 - At a press conference, Prof. Huber, rector of the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich (LMU), Prof. Reinhardt, Dean of the LMU Medical Faculty, and Prof. Peter, director of the LMU University Clinical Center, announced the foundation of the LMU Munich Medical International GmbH (LMU-MMI).
The company has been established as a subsidiary corporation of the LMU to market high quality education and consulting services to other medical faculties and health care providers in the global health care market. Since the LMU Medical Faculty ranks among the leading medical faculties in Europe, it will offer its experience and know-how to professors, executive leaders, and talented fellows and scientists from around the world. Strategic partner of LMU-MMI is Harvard Medical International (HMI). Prof. Tom Aretz from HMI, who was also present at the press conference, described the long-term relationship between HMI and LMU as very successful, personal and rewarding. He sees many opportunities for working together in the future.
