MMI was established in 2005 as a subsidiary corporation of LMU Munich University to respond to the global demand for excellence in healthcare, clinical services, medical education and research projects. Today MMI is an independent company focusing on healthcare management and healthcare investment consultancy. MMI is a strategic partner of Munich University Hospital and enjoys the benefits of a longterm cooperation with Harvard Medical International.

Senior managerial competence is found through the two managing partners having a focus in healthcare delivery (Prof. Frank Christ, M.D.) and financial transaction and restructuring (Rolf Engel, M.D., MBA).

MMI services are focused on due diligence of healthcare projects, planning of healthcare units, medical education, assessing investment opportunities and processing clinical trials.
